I studied psychology during my undergraduate career finishing with an honors thesis investigating knowledge representation, so my approach to language research has been cognitively based. My current interests in the field of language science are language acquisition, the interaction between cognitive constraints and efficient communication, and computational models of language. Recently, I have been researching how we can better account for human’s limited capacity to represent knowledge when answering various questions in language science.
